I am a Vital Voice

Yesterday, Marc and I went to Target in Davenport FL., that’s where I noticed this journal. The cover caught my attention and spoke volumes, “I am a Vital Voice.”

I decided to make a trip to Target today at the Rolling Oaks Plaza (closer to home) to return an item. I decided to see if they had the same journal. I passed on purchasing it last night, but if it were at this Target, I would not miss my chance. The words, “I am a Vital Voice” has personal meaning to me.

Sweet as Honey!

“The one with a wise heart is called “discerning,” and speaking sweetly to others makes your teaching even more convincing. Wisdom is a deep well of understanding opened up within you as a fountain of life for others, but it’s senseless to try to instruct a fool. Winsome words pour from a heart of wisdom, adding value to all you teach. Nothing is more appealing than speaking beautiful, life-giving words. For they release sweetness to our souls and inner healing to our spirits.”  Proverbs‬ ‭16:21-24‬ ‭TPT‬‬

During morning prayer I begin to see honey! How cool, right?! I saw honey flowing everywhere in the Spirit, which gave me a desire to search the scriptures to find the message Papa was speaking to me. After doing a quick google search, I found six scriptures with the word honey. Okay six scriptures, that’s not bad at all. I scrolled through the scriptures reading and asking Holy Spirit to highlight to me the one He was leading me to. I then proceeded to get ready for my day.

During the early afternoon, while searching for stock photos I begin to see (in the Spirit) an image of a person with honey on their lips, not sugar, but honey.  I then noticed a flash across my computer screen. It was a daily devotional which read, “Kind words are like honey.” One of the scriptures within the devotional is Proverbs 16:24 which leaped out at me!

A little time passes and I continue to check my emails. I opened the email and it was a book an author asked me to take a look at. You’re not gonna believe this… Proverbs 16:24 jumped right out at me within the pages of this manuscript!  Hmmm… I think Abba is trying to tell me something.

Papa is so cool! I thank God for His beautiful, SWEET reminders. Reminding me that kind words are like honey-sweet to the soul and healthy for the body! (Proverbs 16:24 NLT) I love how He divinely weaved this scripture into my day. May those of us who preach, teach, write, and give wise counsel be reminded of this sweet reminder in Proverbs 16:24.

Papa, we pray that we will be one with a wise heart who is called discerning. May we speak sweetly to others making your teaching even more convincing. May the deep well of wisdom open up within us as a fountain of life for others. May we be one who will speak forth your beautiful, life-giving words, words that release sweetness to the soul, and inner healing to the spirit.

Be Anxious for Nothing

Philippians 4:6 (VOICE)

Don’t be anxious about things; instead, pray. Pray about everything.

Trust in My timing–be anxious for nothing, not even for the fulfillment of My promise to you. Be anxious for nothing, yet stand in expectation. Expect Me to keep My promise to you, but do not try to “bring it to pass” in your own strength and timing. Follow My lead and pray through the truth of My Words to you. Hold on tight to every word you’ve heard Me speak. Rehearse My words and keep them close to your heart. As you seek, I speak. As I speak, ask Me, “what is for now, and what is for later.” Not everything I speak is for this moment–however, I speak of My promises to keep you encouraged–it is to come.

Hebrews 10:23 (TLV)

Let us hold fast the unwavering confession of hope, for He who promised is faithful.

When you feel like forgetting about it, or burying My promise to you, I speak at the right moment. My words come to reignite your passion for that specific promise. I do not “play” with your feelings, nor with your emotions, beloved. My Words come to reignite your passion for the promise to cause you to wait with EXPECTATION and JOY! That’s why I continue to blow My truth in your direction. My truth is a reminder that you will receive ALL I have promised you. I remain true to My promise. It belongs to you. You DID and you DO hear Me. Beloved, My timing is impeccable. When it’s time, you will see, as you stand appreciative in wide-eyed wonder with your heart full of gratitude. Gratitude for the fulfillment, but also gratitude for the wait. You will see why you had to wait and you will come to appreciate My timing. It will cause you to wait with expectation for other things that I’ve promised. Oh yes, it’s that great, its even greater than you perceive.

Hebrews 10:36a (KJV)

For ye have need of patience…

Allow My words to encourage you as you wait–patiently. When you do not see fruit from all of your efforts, only wasted time, you find yourself discouraged. Beloved, wait on Me, you cannot do anything within your own strength. Instead, choose to walk in this truth, you are another day closer to the unveiling of My promise. Refuse to take on the ideals of man, do not make claims on anything I have not told you to claim–that is not how faith is designed. Faith speaks according to what I have spoken. Faith does not speak on its own accord. Faith hears My Words and partners with power (Holy Spirit) to see the manifestation of My words. When you run ahead of Me and place your timing on the promise, the result is discouragement. Remember, I do not move according to your timeline. Trust in Me–promises spoken from Me to you, they WILL be fulfilled.

Isaiah 55:9, 11 (VOICE)

9 My thoughts and My ways are above and beyond you,
just as heaven is far from your reach here on earth.

11 So it is when I declare something.
My word will go out and not return to Me empty,
But it will do what I wanted;
it will accomplish what I determined.

Be anxious for nothing. Everything has its proper time. Trust in Me. Trust My timing. You are not behind. No more striving, only thriving!

Ecclesiastes 3:11a  (TLV) He has made everything beautiful in its time

Back to the Feet of Jesus

This morning with Abba, I begin to hear His “heartbeat.” His heart spoke these words “Back to the feet of Jesus.”

Then I saw many running around, busy, busy, busy–assuming all they were doing they’re doing it for God, but unknowingly they had drifted from the place of intimacy with Jesus. His voice was full of love, grace, which brought conviction. His voice boomed as He spoke, “BACK TO THE FEET OF JESUS.”

Luke 10:38-42 The Passion Translation (TPT)

38–39 As Jesus and the disciples continued on their journey, they came to a village where a woman welcomed Jesus into her home. Her name was Martha and she had a sister named Mary. Mary sat down attentively before the Master, absorbing every revelation he shared. 40 But Martha became exasperated by finishing the numerous household chores in preparation for her guests, so she interrupted Jesus and said, “Lord, don’t you think it’s unfair that my sister left me to do all the work by myself? You should tell her to get up and help me.”

41 The Lord answered her, “Martha, my beloved Martha. Why are you upset and troubled, pulled away by all these many distractions? Are they really that important? 42 Mary has discovered the one thing most important by choosing to sit at my feet. She is undistracted, and I won’t take this privilege from her.”

I then begin to hear Jesus calling out to “Mary”. The name Mary rung out across the globe, “Maryyyyyyyy.” As Jesus called out, I saw Mary appear at His feet (although one person appeared, Mary is all of us. As Jesus called for Mary He is calling for His bride. He is calling for those who will come, sit at His feet and absorb His words of truth and revelation, just as Mary did). I then saw the face of Mary. Mary’s face was glowing and she was smiling as she sat at the feet of Jesus–she was listening intently and undistracted as He spoke.

Next, my heart begin to ache, and my attention was drawn to sibling rivalry. I then heard Papa God speak sternly in love, (as a Father would to his children to get their attention because they’re not listening, too busy fighting with his/her sibling) His voice boomed yet again, “BACK TO THE FEET OF JESUS.”

After Papa spoke those words, I then saw the church bowing at the feet of Jesus–turning back to the place of intimacy. I saw the church, from city to city, state to state, country to country and nation to nation, all across the globe, bowing at the feet of Jesus.

I then heard a global cry from the Bride of Christ–this cry was a loud roar thunderous roar in one voice, as one people calling out JESUSSSSSSSS. The sound came up from the belly and out of the mouth of the bride and the name JESUS echoed across the globe. Hope was restored and lives were transformed globally, the land began to change in color from dried parched ground to a vibrant green as we the church took our position back at the feet of Jesus and put sibling rivalry to rest.
